Faceless yet searching. The act of being faceless, being nobody, is the essence of relinquishing your ego. What is the divine self? Is it who I “identify as?” No. For I am merely stardust and a cycle of energy. Temporary and nothing.
Divinity is the ability to perceive. To experience. To appreciate. To love. By becoming faceless—embodying humility and nothingness, I follow the same wavelength as the rest of my perceived world. I am not important. I am just as important as the fleetingness of everything and everyone.
Divinity is the acceptance. The acceptance that I will grow old. The acceptance that I will die. The acceptance that I am nothing and no one. And that is beautiful.
In this work, I am but a body using my senses to search for my divine self. My perceiver. My appreciator. My lover. Through my eyes. Through my perceptions. Through my interpretations of the world. As for me, thats the only thing thats truly real.
And in that search of divinity. That divinity within myself and of my perception. I will be a lamp. A lamp unto myself.
